About the Tennis Strategy

Richmond Hill is undertaking a tennis strategy to plan for our current and future tennis needs to meet the expectations of the growing community. This is a result of the input we heard from residents through the Parks & Recreation Plans community consultations. This strategy will guide and direct tennis programs, services and facilities in order to be prepared for the demands of current and future residents.

Objectives of the tennis strategy:

  • Review current tennis service delivery inventory
  • Research best practice models in surrounding communities
  • Review current tennis club and private tennis club operations and
  • Make recommendations for Richmond Hill to implement new standards for indoor tennis provision, accompanied by sound policies and procedures.
